The Trickster lives at the edge. In myth and our own worlds, we see the transformative power of this character challenging the status quo at the centre. Are you ready to discover the trickster in you?

Let’s take a trip to the edge together. Through a synthesis of storytelling, humour, improvisation, play, fun, mindfulness, creative embodied expression and group dialogue, we discover our power to disrupt, truth-tell, free ourselves and release boundless creativity.

These transformative, relaxing 6 days in the Umbrian countryside in Italy will bring our consciousness into deeper contact with our own bodies as well as with the ‘social body’ - that space of brilliance, inspiration and joy found between us.

6 nights of comfortable accommodation at Tara Nature Retreat Center in the heart of Umbria.
Nourishing meals: Full board, allowing us to focus on the experience.
Relax by the swimming pool: Soak up the Italian sunshine.

5 morning movement practices: Qi Gong, Social Presencing Theatre, and Yoga sessions to awaken your body and mind.
Excursions: Nature hikes and movements by the local river, connecting with nature and being.
Fireside Storytelling and Singing Circles: Bond with fellow participants under the stars.

Deeper Transformation:

Social Presencing Theatre: A transformative practice for self-discovery and connection.
Optional 4-week online integration: Continue your journey after the retreat with guided online sessions.

Led by Angela Halvorsen Bogo – a troubadour and storyteller, founder of Transformational Play and the Festival of the Fool, specialist in building connection through play, creativity, humor and lightness.

Practical Information

Space is limited to a group size of max 20 people
There will be an (optional) Zoom call ahead of the course
Standard Fee range 1200 - 1800 EUR for the course and full board accommodation of 6 nights
Early bird offer until July 30 2024
Various payment scales and accommodation options - single and twin room options, as well as outdoor glamping in a tent
Few scholarships available for low income participants
Travel advice: Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) is approximately 150 km away from the retreat venue. A shuttle bus is available from here for extra cost.
Alternatively, Perugia Airport (PEG) is approximately 60 km away.
